Can I use my SSL Certificate for multiple domains or subdomains?

What we want to do is use a single SSL under two of our subdomains - primarily 'secure.domain.com' and 'secure2.domain.com' . The certificate was purchased for www.domain.com . Are we going to run into problems with trying to do this?

If you try this it will give an error stating that the Domain does not match the installed SSL (even though it will still encrypt it). Certificates are domain specific for example if you buy a certificate for www.domain.com it will protect https://www.domain.com but you will get an error stating that the Domain does not match the installed SSL if you try to go to https://domain.com or https://secure.domain.com etc.
