Viewing SQL Server 2005 Databases
To view the list of SQL Server 2005 databases, click Databases >> SQL Server 2005 menu item on your space page. SQL Server 2005 page will open.
Adding SQL Server 2005 Database
To add a new SQL Server 2005 database, click Create Database button. SQL Database Properties page will open.
Type the name of your database in the Database name box. Choose users to access your database and click Save button.
Backing up SQL Server 2005 Database
To backup SQL Server 2005 database, open SQL Server 2005 page. Choose database that you wish to backup and click on the database name. SQL Database Properties page will open. Click Backup button. Backup SQL Database page will open.
In the Backup File Name box, type the name of the file where backup data will be stored. Check Zip Backup box if you want to zip backup file. Choose the backup destination and click Backup button.
Restoring SQL Server 2005 Database
To restore SQL Server 2005 database, open SQL Server 2005 page. Choose database that you wish to restore and click on the database name. SQL Database Properties page will open. Click Restore button. Restore SQL Database page will open.
Choose the backup file to restore from, and click Restore button.
Truncating Database Files
To reduce the size of SQL Server 2005 database data and log files, you can truncate database files. To truncate SQL Server 2005 database files, open SQL Server 2005 page. Choose database that you wish to truncate and click on the database name. SQL Database Properties page will open. Finally, click Truncute Files button.
Adding SQL Server 2005 Database User
To add a new SQL Server 2005 database user, open SQL Server 2005 page and click Create User button. SQL User Properties page will open.
Type the name and password of the database user in the User name and Password boxes. Select the default database and choose databases which the new user can access. Finally, click Save button.
Deleting SQL Server 2005 Database
To delete SQL Server 2005 database, open SQL Server 2005 page. Choose database that you wish to delete and click on the database name. SQL Database Properties page will open. Finally, click Delete button.
